KGS Aranmula International Airport is developing an International Greenfield Airport at Aranmula, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala at a cost of Rs. 2000 crores. The airport is planned to be built on about 700 acres of land.
Aranmula is centrally located in between existing International Airports at Thiruvananthapuram and Cochin at about 130 Km. The proposed Airport will have a direct influence on the central Travancore region, tourist traffic and the other adjoining local areas, which boasts of high concentration of Non Resident Keralites (NRK), migrants, foreigners, pilgrims, etc.
